Hackney Museum is available to hire for private functions, training events, conferences, meetings and workshops.

Hire Permanent Display
The permanent display is the largest space, comprising displays and open space. It connects to both the temporary exhibition gallery and the learning room.
It has a capacity of 80 either standing or theatre style seating as covid-secure measures remain in place.
Free public Wi-Fi access is available throughout the space. There is a TV screen in-situ for use. A laptop (not provided) can be connected to the screen.
Food and drink cannot be consumed in the museum and we are unable to arrange refreshments
If you would like to hire Hackney Museum during public opening times, your event would share the space with the visiting general public. If you are booking outside of public opening times, additional staffing costs will also apply.

Hire Learning Room
The learning room has a capacity of 16 people as covid-secure measures remain in place.
Free public Wi-Fi access is available throughout the space. There is a large screen in-situ for use. A laptop (not provided) can be connected to it.
Food and drink can be consumed in the learning room only and there is a sink to refill water bottles. We are unable to arrange refreshments.
If you are booking outside of public opening times, additional staffing costs will also apply.
The spaces available to hire are situated on the ground floor, have level access and access to baby changing facilities, male, female, gender-neutral and accessible toilets. Temporary exhibitions change frequently.
There is no parking available on-site, although there is a drop-off point that can be used, if arranged in advance. There is a Blue Badge space outside the building and metered parking in local side streets.
