Freelance Programme Lead: Engaging Under 5s and their carers
We are looking for a freelancer to plan, develop, deliver and evaluate a short programme for local children under 5 and their carers to engage with Hackney Museum.

Volunteering
Are you looking for experience in a museum? Do you have a passion for helping people learn about local history, community and diversity? Then Hackney Museum could be the place for you.
Our volunteers support the professional staff at Hackney Museum and Hackney Archives on a regular basis across exhibitions, events, research and collections work, and learning and engagement programmes. Whether you want to develop your skills or give to the local community, we can help you.
Work Placements
Hackney Museum and Hackney Archives accept placement students from a wide range of courses, backgrounds and specialisms, from secondary school to MA or PhD students.
If you’re interested in local history and heritage, migration, community and cultural diversity then a placement with the learning or collections teams at Hackney Museum or Hackney Archives could be just right.
